CCS Action Network: Grassroots Organizing Training

  • Carbon Capture and Storage Facts P.O. Box 50733 Eugene, OR 97405 (map)

The CCS Action Network is hosting a virtual training on Thursday, April 10 at 8pm to help you build community opposition to carbon capture infrastructure in your community and support our national organizing efforts. Powerful interests are pushing these projects forward, but by gathering petition signatures and writing effective letters to the editor, we can show policymakers that our communities say NO to carbon capture.

This training will equip you with:

  • Best practices for petitioning at local events

  • Tips for writing impactful letters to the editor

  • Strategies to grow local resistance to CCS

When: Thursday, April 10 at 8pm Eastern
Where: Online (Zoom link provided upon registration)
Who:

  • Emma Schmit, Bold Alliance

  • Isabel Penman, Food & Water Watch

  • Moderated by Claire Deuter, Western Organization of Resource Councils
